What will you do?
As a Club Bartender at SoulKitchen Amsterdam, you are constantly in view of the guests and serve as a role model for others. You are responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure seamless and efficient bar service. You will be working in a fast paced club environment.
Your tasks include:
- Serving as a role model, constantly in view of the guests.
- Clustering orders by area.
- Directing barbacks, including tasks related to the bar such as cleaning and restocking.
- Assessing when it is necessary to run orders yourself.
- Correctly and in the right order pouring beers.
- Pre-rinsing beer glasses.
- Timely refilling of drinks.
- Restocking glassware and processing empties.
- Replenishing cellar beer, kegs, CO2, and cocktail supplies.
- Checking if glassware and dishes are clean from the wash.
- Using the bar’s opening and closing checklists.
- Correctly recording “Personal Use” or “Breakage,” if applicable.
- Checking the labeling of products with expiration dates (THT), if applicable.
- Checking mise en place.
- Keeping the workspace neat and organized.
- Performing HACCP cleaning according to regulations.
What do you bring?
- A representative attitude.
- Drinks should be on the table within 4 minutes after being ordered.
- Delivering quality by personally checking if orders are made according to SoulKitchen protocol.
- Good cooperation and communication with the club service and the bar.
- Understanding the SoulKitchen Customer Journey.
- Knowledge of all (hot) drinks and the appropriate glassware.
- Knowing the measures of all spirits.
- Understanding the bar in a club setting, mix drinks, basic cocktail knowledge.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a hospitable attitude.
- Preferbally experience in working in a fast paced club environment
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Experience in hospitality or a similar role is a plus.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
