What will you do?
As a Club Hostess at SoulKitchen Amsterdam, you are the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive.
Your tasks include:
- Welcoming guests upon arrival and guiding them to their tables in a friendly and professional manner.
- Managing reservations and table arrangements to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Anticipating guests’ needs and promptly responding to any questions or requests.
- Collaborating with the serving staff to ensure a seamless experience for the guests.
- Maintaining a neat and organized entrance and waiting area.
- Assisting with events and special occasions at the club.
- Answering phone calls and emails received during the night.
- Taking jackets or guiding them to the lockers
- Upholding the policies set by SoulKitchen regarding reservations.
- Upselling to guests by offering SoulKitchen cakes, balloons, and VIP table service during club nights.
- Providing support after dinner service, such as running, cleaning, and bottle service.
What do you bring?
- Ability to balance the waitlist and reservations.
- Estimating wait times and communicating them enthusiastically to guests.
- Constant communication with the floor staff about table availability and the pace at which tables become available.
- Positive and representative attitude (e.g., avoid words like ‘no’, ‘can’t’, ‘don’t do’, think along with guests).
- Clear articulation.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a hospitable attitude.
- Proficiency in working with various reservation systems.
- Strong in Dutch and English; both written and spoken.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Experience in hospitality or a similar role is a plus.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
